Just less than two months after we packed up and left Houston, our air shipment has arrived. The anticipation feels a bit like Christmas morning.
With our game of packing roulette, we were not quite sure what might arrive and what might not, so it really was like Christmas morning opening up some of our boxes. Strangely, some of the things I was sure were in the must pack pile didn’t arrive. And somethings I was sure I put in the storage pile came. There are clearly positives and negatives to having people pack for you.
Hopefully when we arrive home in three years we will find everything. That is the downside of longterm storage, we have no way to access our belongings until the end of our adventure.
